Greenwich Village is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in New York. It is located on the West Side.
In the early 20th century, it was a destination for innovative artists, revolutionary writers, and radical intellectuals who gave the Village its bohemian character.
Today, it is noticeable that there are still airs of the bohemian and avant-garde spirit of the past, even though it has a super elegant and careful style. It is characterized by having short buildings, wide streets and everything is very sophisticated. In fact, you can find the most exclusive businesses.
And you know what? The building where the main characters of TV show Friends supposedly lived is also here. At Bedford St. and Grove St.
If you are a fan of hats, be sure to stop by Goorin Bros. You can personalize them adding feathers and accessories of your choice!
In Greenwich Village you can breathe peace, vibes and elegance.
Between Greenwich and East village, you'll find the typical neighborhood where Woody Allen used to shoot his films.
The main street is Bleecker St., there are several trendy shops like: Marc Jacobs and Book Mark. And what better than walking around with a cupcake in hand from the renowned Magnolia Bakery.
For breakfast at Greenwich: Breakfast by Salt's Cure. Home to the famous Oatmeal Griddle Cake.
And if you are up to delicious bagels: Pop Up Bagels.
If you are looking for a stakehouse, you must go to 4 Charles.
For a coffee stop and a cool grocery shop Pop Up Grocer. You'll find food, beverages, beauty, pet food and more.
The best pizza is: L'Industrie.
Another good option: Mama's Too.
For amazing sandwiches, stop by Café Ino. 21 Bedford St, New York, NY 10014
It is small, well known and you'll eat very well.

For sushi you can eat great handrolls at Nami Nori. 33 Carmine St. They have other restaurant in Williamsburg.
One of the best ice creams in town: Sant Ambroeus (they have stores in many other locations within NYC).
You can also stop for a "kanelbullar" (swedish version of the cinamonn roll) at Fabrique and head to Little Island at Pier 55, an artificial island and publick park within Hudson River Park.
You also have The Spotted Pig restaurant, where you can eat some delicious hamburgers and it's open until 2am! (somewhat difficult to find in NY since places to eat close early). Enjoy your burger with their fries that have a different touch. You find it at 314 W. 11th Street at Greenwich Street. You can eat brunch, have lunch, go in the afternoon or at night.
You'll find one of the rooftops going down the Highline (by the 14th): Le Bain at the Standard Highline. Take your ID! Also, bare your clothing. They have strict dress code (not fancy but yet kind of formal).
At night there are very cool pubcrawls to do around the neighborhood.
